We operate on a production services model, adding the '3D layer' to your production. This normally consists of expert crew (3D rig technicians and stereographers) and complete 3D filming systems which we own. We've worked on commercials, pop promos, wild-life shoots, mutli-camera live and as-live sport and music. Built on high-end components, each one of our camera systems has been expertly refined and customised to work in the ways our clients are demanding. Reducing the size and weight to increase speed and mobility without compromising on quality is our driving philosophy. Inition's 3D experts and camera systems were behind: - Several recent productions for our new production sister-company Pointy Stick. - LG's new 3D TV cinema commercial, produced by Framestore and Mindshare. - Kelis music video for 'Scream' with Rankin. - Six Nations 3D Broadcasts, live to 40 UK cinemas. Cinemas around the country screened England’s home RBS Six Nations games live in 3-D. Archibald Ingall Stretton commissioned 3D specialists Inition to produce the matches became the largest ever UK sports events to be broadcast live in 3D in February and March 2010. - Keane live 3D webcast: the first of its kind, from Abbey Road. Multi-camera HD OB to web, 3D digital cinema and first ever 3D transmission on Sky's TV network. Five 3D camera positions including 3 motorised mirror rigs in a production conceived by Inition during a meeting with the band in 2008. Click here to read an article about the event in TVB Europe Magazine. - Are You Smarter Than Your 10 Year Old?: As-live 5 position shoot for Sky at BBC TV Centre in August 2009 for TwoFour and Sky. 4 Mirror rigs (two on techno-cranes) and 1 minicam SteadiCam rig. Inition provided all 3D equipment and expertise alongside OB company Telegenic for the latest shoot for Sky's 3D channel. - Don Giovanni: live 3D transmission of Handle's Opera from Rennes to 5 cinema locations across France. This was the first multi-cinema 3D transmission in Europe and the first with a paying audience. This project was commissioned by Orange (part of France Telecom) and was the second collaborative project with the French Broadcaster and Can Communicate (one of our production partners) in 2009. The first being a live football transmission of Lyon vs. Paris St Germain earlier in the year.  Click here to read an article about the event in TVB Europe Magazine - Six Nations Rugby 2008: the World's first live satellite 3D transmission with the BBC. Nonimated for a pretigious RTS Innovation award. A test transmission to an invited audience, funded by Inition in conjunction with Can Communicate and Axis. - Filming of the World Cup finals in 2006 (with Haptics). 4 camera positions at 5 games including the final. at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Footage used in the exhibition that accompanies the World Cup Trophy Tour. - Usain Bolt's record breaking 150m sprint in Manchester 2009. Became the UK's first 3D digital cinema advert which went out before Ice Age 3. Inition provided  equipment and crew including the lead stereographer (Andy Millns) for a FilmNova production by Sky and Can Communicate. We work closely with production partners to provide access to all the equipment and expertise required for successful stereo 3D production. The options and workflow for 3D content creation/aquisition can be confusing as there are many considerations and techniques available depending on subject matter and the type of 3D display for which it is destined. Considerations for 3D should be made early on in the storyboard stages to get the most out of any project. Inition has an in-house creative team experienced in all aspects of 3D CGI content production. We also produce content for the new generation of glasses-free displays. We also offer stereoscopic production training. CGI content by Inition 2D to 3D Conversion can be applied to live-action or CGI productions to add 3D depth to standard 2D material. This is useful when re-shooting existing material in 3D is impractical or too expensive.
