Stereoscopy
(often abbreviated to 'stereo' or ‘3D’) adds the extra dimension
of depth to images, both moving and still, real and computer-generated.
Inition offer an unrivalled range of stereo viewing solutions
and content suitable for a single viewer to hundreds.
We have installed stereo theatres, both permanent and temporary, the world
over.
Inition has many years' experience providing
the latest stereoscopic content, hardware and customised solutions to
our customers. In addition to our stereoscopic production facilities,
we are able to provide a wide range of 3D display technologies. These
include large projected, small-screen, active LCD shutter glasses,
passive polarised glasses, both circular and linear or autostereoscopic
(glasses-free) displays.
Our demo
studios in both London and Melbourne offer the largest collection
of commercially available 3D display solutions under one roof and are
the only place to assess various technologies side-by-side.

Glasses-free screens
such as the Philips WowVx allow the 3D image to be viewed without glasses from a wide range of angles
and distances. They are a relatively new addition to the 3D display market
and open up a wide range of new opportunities to exploit 3D imagery.

These
screens are ideally suited to situations where an eye-catching display
is required, for example:
- Digital signage
- Retail display
- Museum, gallery and exhibition displays
- Scientific Visualisation
The passer-by is able to see the full
3D imagery without having to stand in a particular place or wear special
eyewear: something that has not been possible until recently.
3D Projection:

Inition's Duality
3D projection system provides affordable, high quality stereoscopic
projection, allowing audiences large and small to watch immersive stereo
3D video using inexpensive passive polarising glasses. Each system is
tailored to meet individual requirements and can be supplied with front
or rear screens in a wide range of screen sizes, ceiling or floor mounted.
This type of 3D display sets the standard for effective 3D, surpassing
all autostereo (glasses-free) systems, and is based on the same technique
used in most 3D IMAX cinemas (but in digital form). Inition’s Duality
systems are ideal for 3D post-production environments for productions
destined for the new wave of 3D digital cinemas equipped with RealD and
Dolby Digital 3D equipment. They are also design for high-end medical,
engineering, oil and gas, architectural and molecular and other 3D data
visualisation.

Inition's Duality systems have been installed in over
150 venues including:

Reebok relaunch Amir Khan deal with 3D film
20 March 2008
Inition were proud to be involved in making a short 3D film of boxer Amir Khan training at his new gym. Inition provided a stereographer, post-production and 3D projection for the film which was shown at London’s National Film Theatre to an audience of press and media to relaunch Amir’s deal with Reebok.
The reaction was fantastic and secured coverage in the national press. In a interview with The Sun, Amir said: "The way they did it was brilliant...If anyone wants to fight me, just look at that. I'm looking at it and thinking 'if I was fighting Amir Khan, what would I do?', and I looked at it and thought 'forget this!'."
The Guardian commented: “The clip duly finishes with a giant Khan repeatedly punching a theatre full of journalists in the face. Which is indeed cool and different.”
Client: M&C Saatchi / Reebok
Director: Duncan Humphries (Can Communicate)
