Inition's MagicSymbol technology promotes opening of The O2

Inition's MagicSymbol technology is being used in its largest roll-out to date, to promote the launch of London's newest and most hi-tech entertainment venue in Greenwich: The O2.

Mobile car-mounted units are visiting busy stations, squares and markets around London for a 5 week period during The O2's launch in June/July 2007, handing out a total of 500,000 MagicSymbol cards, each of which are prize-winning. Participants hold their card up to the camera to see it come to life on screen, and discover their reward. Prizes include 2 for 1 meals, free drinks and cinema, concert and sports event tickets at The O2.

After finding out what they have won, participants make their way to The O2 in Greenwich, where a third kiosk unit inside the venue itself allows them to redeem their card for a prize voucher.
